We are constantly on the lookout for awesome resources to share with our fellow divers and friends. Below are some of our favorite websites that we use:
Has it been a while since you've last been SCUBA diving? If so, it might be a good idea to complete a skills refresher at one of the local dive shops. If you'd like to just review some of the material you may have forgotten, check out this useful guide from Diving Squad.
A Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV) or underwater scooter is a great tool for divers looking to cover long distances on their dives. They can also be a great tool for divers with mobility injuries or other limitations. To learn more about this awesome underwater tool, check out the link below.
Wondering if conditions are good for diving? Windy App is one of our favorite resources for checking conditions before going out. If you go to the blog section of their site, they also have mini lessons on weather patterns and phenomenon that are really cool!
The Divers Alert Network (DAN) offers free online training and seminars that go in-depth with the science of diving, injury prevention, and emergency response. It's a great resource for any skill level diver, and it's free!
Looking for something to do during your surface interval? Hawaii has some of the best hiking trails in the world! Our team frequently uses the information on All Trails to find safe routes and learn from other hikers who have already completed the hike.
