Nudi Wear was developed by divers for divers and all water lovers. They create high-quality products inspired by the ocean, while also limiting their impact on the environment through eco-conscious materials and production. Founded and owned by local Hawaii divers Ryan and Christy, Nudi Wear sells swimsuits, leggings, active apparel, dry bags,and other beach accessories. All of their designs and patterns are inspired by the creatures we see diving the oceans of Hawaii.
Why We Love Them: The company was created by local divers and their designs are awesome! The materials they use are thoughtful, high-quality, and don't wear out quickly. 10% of their profits are donated towards ocean conservation and the Coral Reef Alliance. As an added bonus, the company sponsors PADI AWARE clean-up dives around the island to help keep our oceans healthy and safe.
Stream2Sea was founded in rural central Florida by Autumn Blum, an avid scuba diver and cosmetic chemist She started the company when she saw an oil slick coming off a group of snorkelers in Palau. She realized the products we put on our bodies could be toxic to our fragile aquatic ecosystem. Stream2Sea makes hair and skincare products (including mineral-based sunscreen) that’s been tested and proven safe for freshwater fish, saltwater fish, and coral larvae.
Why We Love Them: It's no secret that the ocean is rough on hair and skin, especially if you spend a lot of time in the salt water and sun. We love their body lotion and mineral based sunscreen stick, but our absolute favorite product is their leave-in conditioner. It keeps hair healthy and prevents too much tangling from the salt water, all while being safe for the environment. They're also committed to supporting other ocean-sustainment causes through their business.
