We're Live!!

After weeks of work and editing (and of course diving), we've finally launched the Oahu Dive Guide! Although the website isn't completely finished, our goal is to spend the next few months building our audience and subscriber base until we are fully functional.

As you might have already read, the goal of this site is to provide an online community for divers in Oahu. It doesn't matter who you are or what your experience level is; we want to make diving information easily accessible. The goal of this site is to promote safe, sustainable, and community-oriented diving for all of those willing to explore our underwater world.

Our primary focus right now is building our Dive Guide library, and introducing users to our Dive Board. (So be sure to invite your friends!) After that, we will start shifting our focus to building community relationships between divers, dive shops, gear reps, instructors, students, or anyone else who has a vested interest in diving. Our online space will allow veteran divers to pass on their experience to newer divers as they start their new adventure in the waters of Oahu.

At the end of the day, our goal is to share our love of diving and this amazing island. We hope that if we can help people discover how special and amazing these waters really are, it will motivate them to become an ambassador for the ocean, wildlife, and sport. If we can make even a small impact on preserving this treasure for our future generations, we'll consider ourselves a success.
